A word of thanks to Dr. Weiss from the incoming chair:

“We are truly indebted to Geoff Weiss for seven years of strong leadership. During his tenure the Division faculty expanded in depth and in new clinical programs, transitioned to the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center and state-of-the-art multidisciplinary care teams, established a strong financial base, and invigorated educational programs. He played key roles in securing renewal of the NCI Clinical Cancer Grant, and in developing clinical research in melanoma and other cancers. Throughout, he has led with insight, collegiality and tireless effort, and has provided a foundation for continued progress for which we are most grateful.”
