Division of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology

The Division of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology treats adult and pediatric patients with asthma, allergic rhinitis and atopic dermatitis, as well as immunologic diseases of the respiratory tract and skin.

Division members offer special expertise in asthma, hives, immunodeficiency diseases, respiratory fungal diseases, drug allergy, hay fever and insect venom sensitivity. In addition, division physicians and researchers have focused increased attention on, and are seeing more patients with, several different forms of food allergy.

Laboratory services provided through the Allergy Clinic include cutaneous and intradermal skin testing and comprehensive allergen immunotherapy.
