Division of Rheumatology

Chief: Janet E. Lewis, MD

UVA’s Division of Rheumatology, under the leadership of Janet E. Lewis, MD, has added new faculty members to its ranks over the last two years, enabling a steady expansion of clinical capacity in both FY 2014 and FY 2015. This is a trend that should remain constant in the upcoming fiscal year.

In particular, the addition of Adam Carlson, MD, to the clinical faculty roster as an assistant professor of medicine has been instrumental in helping the division meet the demand for rheumatologic evaluation and treatment and improve access to care for patients with rheumatic diseases.
