EDUCATION
The Rheumatology Fellowship Program combines a rich and rigorous clinical experience with both basic science and clinical research opportunities.
The comprehensive training program is designed to develop rheumatologists who will be successful in a variety of fields and settings, whether academic medicine (basic science, clinical research or clinical education) or in private practice.
The two-year program, directed by Donald Kimpel, MD, MA, is offered to those who have completed a three-year internal medicine residency program; upon completion of the program, fellows are eligible for the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certification examination in rheumatology.
